Let's start with the service and customer care which cannot be bettered and then to the product.
It's smart, simple and it works.
A friend spent two years of dissatisfaction with his new rifle and was totally dejected but he bought and fitted this Tuner and the results were unbelievable.
It left no option, I had to have one!
The service and delivery was excellent, now for the test.
It's a fairly lengthy process but you need to identify all of your sweet spots. it's also a fascinating and rewarding exercise and the results are mind boggling.
Once a good sweet spot has been selected you just tune again around that smaller area.
I am sure that you will not only be amazed but also, delighted with the result.
Don't forget however, but the human element still applies and if you have some bad shooting practices it cannot eliminate those.
That's down to you to sort out.
You get what you pay for and my early results indicate that it really does work.
Thanks Johann.

I entered a competition held at are club taking in shooters from around the Southwest and I won Gold in my class which was C. Had I been in the A class I would have got Silver and the only thing I can put the improvement down to is the Tune Pro X. I have been using it now for about thee weeks and I now feel that I can trust the barrel to put the shots where I want them to go. It’s also giving me more confidence in what I’m doing.
The help and advice I had from the ProX team was second to none.
Thanks for making me a happy shooter

A short review of the Tune pro x,
Fitting took a couple of minutes and could not have been easier then onto the shooting itself . It was truly amazing to watch the groups change in size and shape as we moved through the settings on the Tune pro just showing exactly how effective it actually is and as expected an excellent group appeared. Amazing how this ammunition was giving poor results until used with the Tune pro x . This is an absolute must for anyone expecting real accuracy .

I bought a CZ457 MTR a couple of years ago and have only fired a couple of hundred rounds through it!
I have recently taken up 100yard benchrest shooting, and have decided to set up the MTR as my benchrest rifle. It comes with a match grade barrel as standard and I have fitted a Timney trigger, so I thought it was a good base model to build on. I usually shoot an Anschutz Match 54, but I want to keep that for 50m NSRA prone competitions.
I have now bought several upgrades for the MTR, and I’m now fitting them in order to get the rifle how I want it.
One modification I wanted was a barrel tuner. The idea of tuning the barrel oscillation to release the .22 LR round at the optimum time appeals to my OCD!!
However, all the barrel tuners I have seen on-line, or watched on U-Tube don’t seem that great. I wanted a barrel tuner with a quality feel and one that is really well made. My search has brought me to Tune Pro X.
I opted for the aluminium and brass combination, which looks great and will suit the rifle when I fit the new chassis, Area 419 scope mount and new M-loc hamster and bi-pod.
I have an engineering background and I’m really impressed with the high quality materials and excellent machining! The Tune Pro X is an extremely well made bit of kit, which will clearly last forever! For me, details like the fine anti-vibration thread make the tuner a joy to use. It feels so well made, and once fitted to the barrel its operation is simple and highly accurate!
One point to get right if you are thinking of getting this tuner, is to make sure you measure your barrel accurately. This is simple to do and is not an issue. My tuner is spot on and is like a factory fit on the MTR barrel!
If you do have any questions, just contact the manufacturer. The customer service and technical support/knowledge is excellent!
On the range, I practiced on some targets and have been impressed with the round to round consistency the tuner provides! It enables you to tune the barrel to the ammunition, which is very helpful when using quality .22LR ammo.
I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Tune Pro X to any shooter who is looking to enhance their round to round accuracy and consistency! I’m now looking forward to the 100 yard competitions!

Thought I would review the Tune ProX barrel tuner a few months after buying.
Delivery – Mine was in the first production batch, so had to wait a few weeks for delivery. The tuner came bubble wrapped inside a small box, complete with spare O ring.
First impressions – This is extremely well made from brass, with no damage, scoring or machine marks visible. The adjustment scale is crisp and easy to see, as is the numbering and Pro X logo. It is a heavy bit of kit, but no problem when shooting to UK benchrest rules. The adjustment is very smooth in operation.
Fitting – Very easy. Just follow the simple instructions on the website .pdf. I am shooting an old Anschutz 1813 Super Match, converted from prone to benchrest, so after removing the front dioptre dovetail and following the online instructions, it’s done. It only took a few minutes.
Using – I did use a lot of ammunition at first, but this gets less as you progress. You are basically shooting groups, noting the group size tighten up and open up as the tuner weight is turned. You go past your tightest group then come back onto it, to reaffirm your best tuning position. It’s best to use a grid target for this. You repeat the process for each change of ammunition batch or brand, and it’s best to confirm the setting or adjust for each visit to the range. 50m (or yards) seems to be the optimum distance for tuning, using a butt rest for stability. Once the tuner is set, zero the rifle, remove the butt rest (for our competition rules) and start shooting.
Results – So far so good. In perfect weather conditions the number of flyers are reduced to almost none, and if one does occur the distance is much less. Of course, you are still at the mercy of the wind when shooting outside, and it won’t help poor technique, but it does remove to a large extent, the vagaries of rimfire ammunition batches.
Value for money – It’s not cheap, but then it’s very well made and will last a lifetime, so for me will be a one-time purchase. I like that I can clean the barrel crown without taking it off, and that the rifle still fits into its case. Even better, I like that you’re not left wondering why one ammunition batch shoots so well, when the next just doesn’t.
Good product? – Yes.

This is just a short review of the tuner that I purchased before the start of our outdoor season. The unit itself is very reassuringly made with the attention to detail absolutely spot on. The ease of fitting the unit was slightly hampered by my inadequate callipers giving a slightly undersized measurement. This was remedied by polishing it slowly to size, I would recommend that you size up the barrel carefully as what would have been a five minute job to fit became the best part of an hour.
As to performance and ease of use it is staggering as to how easy it is to follow the test groups and watch the changes as the incremental adjustments are dialled in. The difference between three distinct holes to a clover or one ragged hole starts to appear as you go through the process, this is my first season using a tuner but the confidence it now gives in being able to reduce variation in batches of ammo and then get the best out of it.
As I shoot in various weather conditions it should also help.
I am just a normal club shooter but can see this is going to raise the bar for me and my expectations in obtaining competitive scores.
The service I obtained from the company with the fitting was a great bonus but the problem was all of my own making.
I would without a doubt recommend this tuner and company.
